A new era begins every June 1st and December 1st. Limited eras are the newest eras in the game and are subject to restrictions to ensure equitable competition. Backwards Breeders compete to see who has the worst producing stallions and mares and who can breed the lowest PT. There are no rules limiting competition for Backwards Breeders, but registration in at least one club is required.
