On the 1st and 15th of every month a random set of 5 genes is selected for a special sale. You can add this gene to a horse of your choice. You will also receive a license for that gene allowing you to purchase and breed horses with that gene. You never know what gene will come up next or how long they will stick around.

Powder White

Gene Example and Info: Powder White is located near the KIT gene and produces lacy markings on the spine, legs, and face. It does not interact with sabino, white genes, or impact white lethality levels. It requires one copy to show. Two copies make denser white markings across the back but do not increase the marking size. This gene has no sharing restrictions.

Appaloosa Spot Regulator 1

Gene Example and Info: This hypothetical gene regulates spot size. ASR1 overwrites other spot size factors and can produce very large spots even on horses with low pigment density. One copy will have a slight to moderate effect on spot size. Two copies will produce a significant increase in spot size. This gene has no sharing restrictions.

Chocolate

Gene Example and Info: Two copies of the recessive b TYRP1 mutation turn all black pigment into chocolate brown pigment. Horse must be E/- or E/E for chocolate to show. This gene has no sharing restrictions.

Kit Promoter 2

Gene Example and Info: KP2 is found at the same location as KP. It requires one copy of KP2 and one copy of a KIT mutation to activate. It interacts with most markings except appaloosa and roan. Visible markings are required for it to show. If two KIT mutation and KP are present the two genes will strongly react. This gene has no sharing restrictions.

Chinchilla

Gene Example and Info: Chinchilla completely removes pheomelanin (red pigment) and leaves behind eumelanin (black pigment). Chestnut-based horses will appear white with red eyes. Bay-based horses will be white with black points and possible sooty. Black-based horses will look mostly unchanged. Requires two copies to show. This gene is closed. Axiom Green

Gene Example and Info: Axiom Red(R), Green(G), and Blue(B) produce subtle stars with one copy and a vivid space appearance with two copies. Each produces space patterns in their respective colors and can be combined to make new colors. Colored Axiom does not combine with Nexus. The eyes of axiom horses glow their respective colors.
