Can you please test the ice mare?
-
Is there a way to mate test without her possibly getting spayed? All other free testings are done.
-
Nope. There is no way to turn off auto-alter for mare and gelding testing. And no one is going to want to spend 30k on a horse that could be spayed
-
No. and a mare that has not been through both Mare Advice and SAT is for all intents and purposes worth no more than a show pony in this game. Trying to gouge high prices for untested stock is frowned upon in the game.
-
I'm not trying to gouge high prices. Just figured if I couldn't sell her for that amount or close to it I'd keep her..
-
If I were to test her and she were spayed what would her value be?
-
That of a show horse - 2500 At least until she earns a fair number of points, if she turns out to be a good shower.
-
Ok thank you all for the helpful information.

It's really hard to say what she'd be worth, and if she's likely to get spayed, as her pedigree is pretty uneven. Her dam's sire is an unpapered 2g, whereas her dam is by a star papered stallion. I'm not super experienced with guessing these things, but I am a bit surprised her dam passed MA. Her sire is A papered where ideally I'd like to see him *Star, but it's not that big of a deal. The question is if her dam is a significantly better than her sire, and if so is her breeding ability closer to her sire's or her dam's? Throw in the element of randomness from the range they can fall into and the only real way to know is to test her.
-
If you test her she will be spared almost certainly, but it will tack a lot of trial and error to figure out what stallion to breed her to to get goon intact foals. If you like her I would turn testing off and keep her.
