I have never regretted purchasing the Premium Upgrade--the extra testing capabilities and auto-show, especially as your stable grows--make it worth the added cost. Having a little time left on your Basic Upgrade isn't a bad idea, either. That way if there's ever a bobble at paypal--your card expiration date comes and you don't get the renewal date entered in time for instance--you won't lose all of the features and your primary barn, while it will get smaller won't return to free account size.

I have also never regretted it. The extra testing options are really helpful and I love the option to pull eggs. Auto-show makes my life so much easier and I don't know how I lived before I had 4K Comparison testing.... but I also know you continue playing just fine at basic. If it's in your budget, I think it's worth it!
