When i was putting my other horses in there clubs. I noticed that she is at #6 highest PT. How are the ribbons given? Can someone explain what that means to me pkease. I love it though she is my first foal to be on leaderboards.
  • Ribbons come out for the 10 highest PTs. I was sad when my Dark Bandit boy got pushed down low, but he ended up getting a ribbon because there were about 7 with the same pt so they all got a #6 ribbon.
  • Congratulations! Be aware that the PT board will change as people breed their horses later in the season (including 2nd and 3rd rounds of pulling eggs/embryos). She will probably stay up there, but might drop in rank.

The awards are automatically added to your account when breeding season ends. You can look at them by going to your stable home page then clicking the link where it says "located at" ______ (your barn name)

She is awfully pretty! Love the satin on the tobi!

  • Thanks her sire is Niquel. I love the satin tobi and she is a medicine to top it off. Thanks. As I breed i go ahead and put them in their clubs. Still havent figured out the era clubs though.
  • Congrats and thanks for asking that as I was wondering too!
  • Era clubs are there to separate horses by the era in which they or their ancestors were born rather than by color. A horse will inherit the oldest era in its pedigree. Newly created ExPerf (and maybe ExPro?) horses are entered in the next to most recent era because their boost means they are a generation ahead in quality.

Eras were created to give new players the chance to compete on leaderboards with established players. Most color boards are skewed toward high generation horses, both in the top producer, top PT and top lined points awards. This is because naturally, if you are breeding seriously, horses of upper generations will be better quality than horses of lower generations. A foundation stallion should have no chance to compete with a gen 4 for top producer awards, and the gen 4 should be way behind the gen 8.

So on the early Era boards you will see there aren't many early gen horses left to compete for those points boards and the top producers are all late gen horses, but there are still new foals competing for the PT board because lots of people have a few Era 0 or 1 breeders they've bought in from older players in the game and some of those original players are also still playing with their original lines. In Era 4, every horse in that era is only a few real life months old and none have ancestors older than that. While some older players may have stock on those boards, it's only new stock from all new lines.. (because we all need to constantly cull and replenish, cull and replenish!).
  • Thanks Cheers. I normally dont check just put foals in and leave but I saw yellow and it caught my eye so now i am going to pay closer attention.

Love learning new things on the game.
  • It does not give out multiple ribbons in the case of ties.
