I finally understand....
-
I remember seeing all these posts about how people are sad about their pretty ponies being snipped and, up until now, I never understood the pain.
But now I do.
This pretty little girl came from a rank 5 True Breeding Brown Appy HH mare and my appy boy and oh my as soon as I saw her pop up on the stallions page I fell in love. The sad thing is on that account I am breeding HH horses and then auctioning both them and their babies for a profit, so I have no room for a foal. So as soon as I saw her, my heart broke. I may just keep her though....so pretty.

Painful, isn't it!? I've gotten to the point where I don't even look at the colors until I've done the free testing! And just wait! The prettiest ones always get snipped! The plain janes stay intact and there will be 349 of THEM to sort through! :PThanked by 1supersarah

Keep her!
I always keep any horse that gets snipped. I especially keep the ones that I would have liked to stay intact. You can always tell my favorites because they are dressed up :))
In a way keeping the pretty ones helps fuel my fire to keep striving for a simular horse that stays intact. I think the worst is when you go through and paper the pretty ones and they fail..so you have to do the snipping yourself.

Nice. Most of my pretties have been snipped the last 2 seasons.
