How can I tell if a horse is good for show ?

How can I tell if a horse is good for show, what do I have to look for?
-
If you run the free test called Breeding Advice, or Strict Breeding Advice, it will tell you if the horse will be a better shower or a better breeder. Then, if you do a Performance Test it will tell you the horses performance score. The higher the score, the better and longer it will train, and the better it will do in shows.

The best way to know if a horse is good for showing is to show it. Unless I am absolutely running out of room to stuff another horse in I don't cull showhorses and I show everything altered or not.
Unless a horse comes in dead last they still earn you points which increases your daily show bonus. I have several horses with PT scores under 9 that have 200-497points giving me roughly 700-1740 extra hbs a week. When I cull show horses I wait until they have levelled off (about the time the horses age hits their PT score). This means that they have most likely earned the bulk of the points they will earn (they can still earn more I have a 22yr 8.8pt mare that wasn't spayed until later in life and still earned 45pts this year) then I search by age and overall points and starting with the oldest I cull the bottom of each age bracket until I get to the horses that are still in training. I find that there is often a gap in each age bracket where the horses below may have a few points but the horses above have a good amount of points.
Currently I have 1400horses that collectively hold 405,492pts and earn me 43,445hbs a day
