    Both parents have a PT score of 6.8 and 6.6 and she is 9.6 and is a Red papered 2G filly. I know that PT has nothing to do with breeding but it is for sure a surprise. There wasnt any pasture bonus. Straight up create and breed.

    Wow! Thanks for sharing though, because this is making me feel more confident about keeping foundation mares with lower PTs

    I always try breeding low PT horses..If they pass SBA, I breed them and Ive had alot of success..Ive bred a foundation mare with a PT of .05 to a foundation stud with a PT of 9.90 got a foal a red papered filly with a PT of 10.3

    And I bought a 2.3 Pt foundation stallion at auction. He passed SBA and threw a a 10.1 red papered filly.

    If they have low PT but pass SBA, try breeding them, you'll likely be pleasantly surprised with the results. I always am.
