Show Horses and Breeding Stock Available (Lots of Color!)
-
I have a lot of (fully tested) horses for sale all higher PT, some foundation some lined.
They would make excellent Show Horses, or even beginning breeding stock, they just don't fit my program for one reason or another.

If you want to sell these horses, your best bet is to put them in the public auction and you will get 2500 for each of them from the automated HJ public auction bidder. Most of these won't sell quickly on the public sales board and not for a price over 2500 hbs. A price of 5k-10k hbs for a gelded/spayed foal with a PT score around 10 is definitely way too high. It doesn't matter if you've spend over 2500 hbs on breeding and testing a horse. You can't expect to make much money from breeding and selling horses and you are generally very lucky if you break even and don't lose money from breeding. You will only make significant amounts of hbs by showing horses and building a large, quality show string. Keep in mind that you can usually get young show prospects that are consistent and have a PT of 11+ for around 3k hbs(and often even cheaper than that) from the public auction.
