If you want to paper a horse, you will need either a basic upgrade or a premium upgrade. Free breeding advice, performance testing, and color testing are available to all players. You can find the tests by going to a horse's control panel. There is also a bulk testing option where you can test multiple horses in your barn at once, but I don't know if that's available to players who don't have an upgrade. Strict breeding advice (or SBA) is only available for players who have a premium upgrade. Basic upgrades can be purchased with either game money or real money. Premium upgrades can only be purchased with real money.

Hi ArabOTTB! There are 2 ways to do the free tests. If you want to test an entire barn at one time you click the check mark at the top of the list of horse names, next to the word Move. That selects all the horses in the barn. Unclick any you don't want to test.

At the bottom of the barn page are the different tests available, in the Bulk Testing section. If you select the Breeding Advice button all the horses you selected will be tested. If you have an upgrade and want to be REALLY strict with your testing you can do the same thing with Strict Breeding Advice. The other tests will charge you a fee per horse.

If you just want to test one horse, go to that horses individual page to the Control Panel tab. The same buttons that are on the barn page will be at the bottom of the Control Panel page, but it will only test that individual horse.

We don't have separate gelding advice and mare advice anymore. They were combined into what's called Breeding Advice, which can be used on every horse. I think some of the older help posts still reference gelding advice, mare advice, and SAT(Showing Aptitude Test). All these things have basically been combined into Breeding Advice.
