Satin, Silver, Pearl

Firstly, what does a satin horse look like? I have never seen one but I see the gene in the breeders club section. Secondly, how many of you love Silvers and Pearls? Do you own any? Have any favorites? :3 I wanna see! And by the way, how do I go about breeding these guys? Cause I want some!!!!

Satin is a kind of sheen to a coat of any color that looks iridescent because of the quality of the hair. It's gorgeous. :)
I absolutely love silvers and pearls, both, in real life and in game. I don't care much for the CcrCprl variety right now but homozygous pearl is amazing, and it looks pretty cool when heterozygous with a lot of colors, too. Actually I might prefer the heterozygous ones.
This girl has silver, pearl, and satin, and some other goodies, too. I loves her. :)

Holy batman she is beautiful! What genes does one look for if wanting to breed these genes out? Or are they like brindle and kind of hard to breed? I loooooooooove. And I really want a satin horse now haha. One of each. No wait... I meant one hundred of each x]

I have a couple of examples for you to look at.
Here is a an example of Pearl and Silver that I have together: Arctic Vette, http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=194167
Here is an example I have of just Silver: ForbiddenCrossroads, http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=167373
And here is an Example I have of just Pearl: Rising Playhouse, http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=204847
But this is the base color of Pearl I usually get, because Corvette has very strong genes: Corvette, http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=100100
You can see that Arctic Vette, who is a White Silver Pearl Buckskin, and his grandsire Corvette, who is a Smokey Grullo Pearl, are almost the same color. I can get variations of their base color. It is all in the genetics and the 'luck of the draw' on what different base colors come with those Pearl and Silver genes.
Silver and Pearl are usually both very unique no matter what. I like both of those genes.

Silver is the easiest to come by, since it is a complete dominant gene on a black based horse. That is Zz will give any black based horse the silvery mane and tail and dilute the base color to some extent. Naturally, if you want to be sure that the silver will be passed on, you're going to want to breed for ZZ. Silver can be created with certain Herd Helpers. Silver Bay, Silver Black and Silver Buckskin sometimes show up. Heterozygous Silver also appears. They are all Rank 3, I believe. Also, silver can be GMT'd onto foundations in the GMT lab for 2 hb's per allele.
Pearl, like Satin, only shows up when it is homozygous, so you would need to have horses that are CprlCprl to be sure to get homozygous pearl offspring. Pearl can be GMT'd onto foundations for 2 hb's per allele.
Satin is an extremely limited edition gene. It expresses only when the recessive allele is homozygous (sasa). I know that in H&J 1 it is owned by a very, very small group of breeders who have all agreed to restrict it to their own stables or to exchange only with other members of the club. I'm not entirely sure of its status here in H&J 2, but I do know that it is very, very rare.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

It's a LOT freer here than on HJ1, but it is expensive. There are horses for public stud (several of mine) who carry satin. Look for sa (small case) in a horse's genetic results. You have to have two copies before it will show like this, so breed for it and be patient.

Awesome. Well, I know where all of my money will be going xD lol

I LOVE silver. It is one of the primary things I am breeding for. You should be able to find lots of studs with silver up for public breeding. Here are a few of my silvers to give you an idea of the range you can get.

I am not as fond of pearl, but you can find studs with pearl up for public breeding too.SALVISTAR PERFORMANCE HORSES

I have a LOT of silver, definitely one of my favourite colours!

I have one Silver Black mare on the first HAJ server. I love silver.
And I had a Perlino Dun stallion. Perlino isn't my favorite color on HAJ, I think that this color looks better in real life.understand the significance of signatures
