In your opinion, which rank specials compliment the Stars & Stripes Forever, genetically? And why do you think that combination works well?

Well there are a lot of brindled RS in the game like Texas Tea and White Wedding, Brindle Breakout, Bring back the sun. I'm not sure if any really have the same exact genes as the Stars and Stripes like others don't have Splash like the Stars and Stripes and nano tech does have appy like the Stars and Stripes and brindle.

Given that Stars & Stripes Forever are at least White Bay Brindle Splash Tobiano Appaloosas genetically, I enjoy crossing them with Silver Pocket Watch, First Snow, Good China, Dark Chocolate, and Bone Fire.

I'm a huge fan of dark appaloosa with white markings. Poe has a beautiful example:

They're just bay Tobiano splash appy, no white.

The Tobiano makes them a fairly safe cross with most other rank specials. I like that they are pretty safe and particularly like crossing them with Fuel to the Fires so I get lots of different patterns in the offspring. That said, because they are bay most of mine end up in my GP pasture where the stallions are Brindle but the only pattern either has is rabicano. I tend to take the Splash off my girls so the GP can shine through and enjoy getting Tobianos and appys in the line.

The post that lists all the rank specials says its white bay Tobiano splash Appaloosa, although none of mine say white, so I'm not sure where the mixup on the post came from.

I have two mares and now a stallion, and since they don't really fit the breeding program of the rest of my herd (trying to get rid of regular bay, Tobiano and splash lol), I decided to make them their own little herd. I'm curious what everyone else like crossing with them, since there's just 3, and I might need/want to add a few more. Lol :)

Oh and I LOVE GP, I'll get it one day. :) My first horse was a great great grandson of Gulastra. <3

These are all my splash foundation horses, and oddly enough, all carry multiple genes I'm trying to breed out (namely cream, splash and regular bay), so I think I'll put them together for their own little herd.
