Comparison testing
  • I just compared all my homebred 2nd gen B papered boys to my B papered nanotech stud and they all test as good as or better than him. Any insight on if they may be low, mid or high b's?

I have a 2nd gen A papered colt I haven't compared yet, I'm thinking compare to the B's that are better than the nanotech?

  • Exceptional foundations are mid to low Bs. Your superior Gen 2 Bs should be Mid to high. Some may even be AGA your A colt.

Depending on your funds, comparing the superior colts to your A would be my next step. I would snip the AGA Nanotech colts where you have a superior colt for that line.

I would expect most of your colts to test inferior to your A, but I generally have 2-6 in 100 that test AGA an A, even from strictly PF x PF or PF x regular create pairings. That said, all of my mares have the 30 day pasture bonus. If yours dont, your rate may be lower.
  • All three of my B's that tested superior to my nanotech are as good as my A.

My boys that are as good as my nanotech are from pf equivalent RS/pf/tnp lines, so C/Yellow parents and full pasture bonus. I've not had a single one test worse than the nanotech.
