My Overos Rerolled Themselves?
-
Is this a thing that overos do? :-))
Suddenly my valentines day mare is no longer pink with roaning! She's just dun with no roan ticking showing! And her colt's white patches got BIGGER! Was there a dev modification to how those genes display that I missed reading, or is this actually a normal occurrence? -
I don't know about specific patterns rerolling only, but I do know that if a horse hasn't been refreshed the image can change slightly to update to the most current version.

We have recently had an overall artwork update. Since Frame is pretty dynamic, I wouldn’t be surprised if you got a noticably different portrait. Ammit has said all patterns can reroll/update with no notice.
-
Wow, how strange! I went through my entire list of overos and yes, some of my horses suddenly have dramatically changed their portrait. Suddenly have huge swaths of white patches, or suddenly no white patches, socks when they didn't have socks, some others even lost their roaning too. How strange! :O

Roan also has a wide range of characteristics. You can have a very minimal roan (can't even tell sometimes) to a very roaned out horse with corn spots. The dynamic characteristics to each gene is one of my favorite things about the game. :)
