Thanks everyone, but I have one question we're do I get my horse

@LunaRanch As a new player you have a couple of options for getting horses. Ammit is posting a special herd helper every day this month. Every player gets a share of what she has posted. You'll find that offer on the Create A Horse page tomorrow morning. Some of these herd helpers are rank specials and may have special combinations of genes.

Tomorrow, Friday, October 13, we will get a share of the Freaky Friday herd helper. This Rank Special makes a perfect foundation that will appear black. Some of them are, indeed blacks that carry two copies of the darkening DP gene. Others are liver chestnuts with two copies of the Sooty gene and two copies of the darkening DP gene. All of them come with two copies of the frame gene (OLW) which is lethal if a horse inherits a copy from both of it's parents.

All of that sound's confusing, I'm sure.

Anyway, you can create horses for 2500 hajibucks each on the create a horse page. Every day you get your own herd helper that you can activate and share here on the forum.

Another way to get horses is to go to the Community link on the left side of the page, select Search Horses. Then enter 13 in the space for the Owner ID. This takes you to the Foundation Rescue site, where you will find perfect foundations that have been rescued from the auction in a variety of colors and ages. They should all be good for both breeding and showing.

You can sign up for a New Member welcome pack near the top of the forum. This will give you a extra barn and a small cash bonus to help you get started.

The FAQ User Guide near the bottom of the left menu gives a good overview of the game. You will still probably have some questions, so please don't hesitate to ask them. We're a friendly group and like to help new players.
