As a general rule of thumb:

Regular create horses and spayed or gelded horses of all generations are worth create price (2500 hbs).

Exceptional producers that are GMTable (4 years old or younger and with no foals) are worth somewhere in the 5-10k range. As they get older or have foals, the price drops.

Rank Specials that are GMTable may be worth anything from 15-100k. Mares are usually more valuable than stallions and they generally are most valuable in the first day or two after the Rank Special share comes out. Older Rank Specials who can’t be GMTd are probably worth 75k and down.

Lined intact horses are usually worth somewhere between 2500 and 5000 hbs unless they test excellently for their generation AND have special and rare genes. Fillies are easier to sell than colts but those really special colts are worth more than the coolest fillies.

I rarely put my horses up for public brood, but in general I wouldn’t expect any foundation horse to be worth more than about 250 per cover for a stallion and 1000 per season for a mare. The rare rank Special who got an extra gene or has been GMTd with something cool (like if your pumpkin spice got DP and was liver) may be worth more. It is easy to research public breeding prices though using the horse search tool.

These are just my opinions, and certainly others may have different views.

The bones are just tack, it adds no value.

Rank Specials usually sell for 50k. Sometimes more sometimes less, that's when a forum auction helps.

ExPros are usually 5-15k.

As for breeding is really varies especially stallions.
A lot have their studs up for 1-200hb
Mares usually are 2500 or more.

For a horse to be gmt'able They need to be 4 or younger with no living foals :)

I currently have under 1,000 HBs... maybe I’ll put up one of my better horses for forum auction (either an expro or rank special). If that doesn’t work out I’ll have to check the forum tomorrow to see if anyone is doing a contest to give one away or something :-/

Yay! If you ever need hbs during a festival, those of us who have been playing a while and have a good show bonus built up are always willing to buy a horse for a substantial amount to help you out. Just post on the forum so we know what you need!
