Can I make him taller/what would you do
-
Moon Blitz
I just bred this colt and he came out just how I wanted. He scored 12 and is intact, papered A. But the only thing is he is a sport pony. I breed Warmbloods. He is right at 14.2 of course. Ive never messed with the gmt stuff, I know you can adjust coloring, but can you make him taller.
On another note, what would you do in this situation?
Thanks guys. -
Yes you can make them taller it costs 1gmt :)
Since he is uneven I personally wouldn't spent to gmt. Though I probably won't even gmt a horse for height.
Uneven isn't a bad thing I just think even line looks aesthetically more pleasing to myself :P
But if he is exactly what you want I would go ahead and gmt him. :D●▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●

Ok, one, he’s basically a gen 8. Most of us who breed over gen 5 or so don’t care about “unevenness” as long as you’re getting good quality.
While I’d certainly prefer that he was a Star at this point, if you’re happy with an A, I’m cool with that. If you have access to the Comparison Test and can test him against his sire, I would highly recommend making sure he’s at least “about as good as” his dad. If you don’t, no worries.
So, a GMT costs 250k game cash or $5US. I GMT a lot, but if you haven’t done much before then I think you should ask yourself if he’s worth that much to you. You will probably never recoup that in stud fees or foal sales, so you need to be willing to just toss that away on him over height. Alternatively you can just breed him to taller mares...
If it was me and I only had one GMT to spend on him, I’d be changing his White Factor to Light or less. That way I could see more of his gorgeous satin S+ coat!!!!! -
I agree with Cheers - breed him to tall mares and you will be fine. He does look very pretty and getting rid of the white factor would make him even prettier :)
