Do horses ever go down a level in showing?
-
This stallion was in 7L, then went up to level 7R, did poorly, then he went back down to 7L.. what gives? I haven't had another horse do this, that I've noticed, does this happen usually? Can a horse go down a level in showing?
It says he is still leveled off in Regional.. but is showing in local? I'm confused..

Horses that are still training will always move up the levels. Once a horse has leveled off, it still adds very very tiny amounts (tiny fractions of a point) to its score every week. Your horse has managed to level off right at the cutoff between 7L and 7R. The game wants to move him up to 7R, but because he’s not training, when he does really poorly at 7R, it then boots him back down to 7L for a week or two (where he dominates and gives your show bonus a nice boost!). This cycle will happen over and over again, until he either finally gains enough points to move up to the bottom of 7R permanently or you stop showing him or he passes away. I had a foundation stallion do this for months before he finally passed out of the game.

Thank you Cheers! I found one other horse doing it also, so now I think I just don't have many old horses yet so I haven't noticed it.. lol
I could really use some good show horses, I have a lot of foals right now, but my show bonus is just over 1k a day for both of my accounts. Lol slowly but surely.. I'll be on the lookout for leveled off horses now! *Fingers crossed* I'm finally figuring out how everything works.. my niece has been helpful too! :D -
Search the auctions for show ponies with points.

Any horse can drop down a level if they do too badly.

But i dont fully understand this: Training: Leveled Off
Has the horse gone to "pension"? Will it never go in training again and level up in showes? ;;) -
@Stefliz
After a certain age, horses stop adding significantly to their show score with training. They can add minute fractions of a point to their score, but it will usually take months (real life) for them to add even a full point.
If you have a Basic or Premium Upgrade, your horses are trained automatically, and even leveled off horses occasionally gain enough to be bumped up to the next higher level. This is most likely to happen if they were showing at the top of their classes when they leveled off.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."
