GP, SNF help

I'm too tired to try and find posts at the moment.. how can I tell a horse is a snowflake? I think I'm kinda close to figuring out SNF.
How do I figure out gulustra plume?! This one is really confusing me.. I think I have horses that are, but then I try to enter them in the club and they are not. Any and all clarification and links to other posts needed.

For snowflake, a horse must be homozygous for the gene, as well as having at least one copy of Lp, for it to show. The gene must show for it to be entered into the club.
Don't know much about GP. I know that it has to be homozygous, can only be gmted on (for foundations), and some other genes can sometimes mimic what it does. But that's all.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.
Prices are almost always negotiable. -
GP can only be expressed with agouti (Bay, brown) and is recessive. You need two copies for it to express. It doesn't spontaneously create in game, you need to GMT it onto a foundation horse. Splash can mimic it and I think appaloosa does as well.
Snowflake is recessive, and can be only expressed if it has at least one copy of appaloosa. You need two copies of snowflake for it to show up. It is created spontaneously and you can have it in random creates. It's pretty rare and as far as I'm aware Goobani is the only person in game who had a hom snowflake random create.#4519 -
Add to the fun the fact that neither shows up on the gene testing results, so you have to figure out where it came from, if it pops up in later generations!
