Your accounts can be associated just by using the same WiFi in a public place. Also some internet providers rotate IPs around or something like that so if you ended up with the same IP as someone else you can be associated.

No way to undo the association. You can still buy horses through buddy chat from associated accounts (I think) or if both of you are premium upgrades you can sell back and forth. The other option is to ask for a third party player to buy the horse in between you and the seller. So for example I buy the horse from Suzy instead then you buy the horse from me for the same price.

Go to your main stable page and click on your barn name in the Stable customization box where it says: Located At: Confluence Farms. Then, on your Public Stable page, scroll down to where it says:
Breeds: Callipygian warmbloods or Callipygian sport ponies.
Bred or Created: 3632 horses and ponies.
View all stables owned by this member..

Click that link, then scroll to the bottom of the resulting page where it says:

There may be other stables associated with your stable. You may not sell to or buy horses from accounts that are associated with you. This is to prevent cheating either by a single person or between friends.
