Nexus?
-
I bought two nexus foals from auction so I'm hoping I'm able to buy a stallion or something now! Can I see what you guys have?
-
Let's see the foals, maybe we can find a good match for them. :)
-
I have a gelding and a spayed mare, I bought them in hopes I could now be able to purchase a stallion or even a mare to breed new stock for my self. It's been a little goal to get these guys XD
-
Both geldings and spayed mares are altered horses, they can only be used for showing and racking up points. You cannot breed an altered (gelded or spayed) horse. To breed, you must own intact horses (stallions and mares). :)
Nexus is generally a very desirable gene, you're likely to find quality intact horses very expensive.ID# 25784 Home of quality Artylian Drafts & Cobs

There is also no requirement to own a nexus to buy a nexus.
__To breed, you must own intact horses (stallions and mares).
You can also use straws if you have an upgrade. No need to own the horses. That can be a cheaper way to get a nexus. Though don't expect to get a quality foal the first time. It can take several breedings.

Oh I see! XD I've seen people selling them but they always say "must have this color before buying"
-
Easiest way to tell if the genes are open or not, is to check the genetic testing result. If anything is orange, special rules apply. You can find them on the horses info page toward the bottom :)Player ID 37457

Heterozygous Nexus and Heterozygous Axiom look very much the same. The ones you've seen with a requirement of owning the gene probably were Het. Axiom, not Nexus. The two genes are related. Nexus is Nx and Axiom is Nr, g, or b (red, green, blue). As WanderingGypsy explained, orange colored gene codes alert us to closed genes.De gustibus non disputandum. Some people prefer to only sell to people that already have the gene too, that's just their preference
-
I'd be happy to sell as long as you breed evenly, please message me x
-
Please remember that those sort of sales rules are almost always ignored Mystic. Best not to sell with that expectation.
