I've been trying like crazy to determine if its his sire or dam that is the carrier. I bred his mom to my Hom snowflake stallion and didnt get a hom snowflake. I should have flushed her. :( Theres always next season.
So Far I've found a few daughters of Gold that are also het snowflake so he's definitely got the gene..

I've bred a few of Golds sisters to my hom 3g snowflake but havent come up with a snowflake foal yet. Kinda leads me to believe is the dam that is the carrier.

The horse you posted isn’t registered in the Snowflake Breeders Club. You may be confusing Snowflake with Leopard.
Snowflake must be HOM to be visible. So if you breed to a HOM Snowflake Stallion and get a visible Snowflake foal the mare is at minimum HET Snowflake. -
Like the others, I think you are confusing leopard and snowflake. Snowflakes has to be homozygous to show, so you will know that both parents has it. Any visible snowflakes will also be able to register in the the Snowflake Appaloosa club. SplashOfGold looks to be a normal leopard appaloosa :)

Snowflake can occur in creates. I think Skylight is saying that one of her foundation creates is Het SnowFlake, and this stallion is het snf. Which explains why some of this stallions offspring.DivineDreams ~ 30908
