Is she a lost cause?
-
This filly is a beauty but hasn't won a single show. Will she get better or should I dump her?
Banditts Dollar Dust SM -
I wouldn’t go off her shows right now since she can’t train yet. I have a couple foals who haven’t won, I’d wait until they can train for a season or two before making any decisions. If she still isn’t winning at all when she’s 3 or 4, then I’d get rid of her. But that’s just me

She Is only a goal and can not train. Next month she can start training so I would wait . :)●▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●

This game is more of a long term strategy game and often you can’t really tell if a horse is going to be good until it has leveled off. (Roughly when their age is the same as their PT)
Yearlings you can’t tell at all because winning or loosing is pretty much a flip of a coin.
For older horses ones ones with low PT will level off earlier and often stick longer in the levels as they work their way up in the show ranks. Earning money as they go.
While higher PT horses often fly through the lower levels and rarely sit at one level long enough to be competitive (looking like they are just costing you money) but they will reach higher levels of showing and if they level off in a sweet spot will make you much more in the long term than a lower pt horse.
When you are first starting out you will want a range of horses so that the lower leveled horses will cover for your higher PT horses until they find their spots. Once your higher leveled horses start earning your keep you can start cutting back on the lower end horses (or keep them and rule the world)
My rule of thumb is if you get rid of a horse the one taking its place should be younger and have close to the same or more points.Thanked by 1KintaraContest -
Thank you @Banditt1119 . That is great advice and now I regret dumping a lot of foals but didn't have room for them then but can now start playing the long game.Thanked by 1Dinascar

At first because of space restraints it is harder to keep around horses until they grow up but when you do have space picking up the foals other people have dumped can also be a good strategy

Ok thanks. I'm planning on upgrading tonight or tomorrow
