So I stand to lose 169 horses this time around but none hurts more than my foundation ice 4/ice 7 boy :'( I absolutely treasure him and I don't know if i'll ever be able to buy these ice genes again :(

And I could also lose my very first foundation project stallion :( He is a non-frame and hom pearl Freaky Friday stallion. Can't believe these boys are this old already.

I'm new enough that none of my special pets are at risk. A few of my starter show horses, but not my foundations.

Do you have plenty of straws from your icy boy? Can you clone him?

Oh wow, I didn't realize anyone had ice4 or 7, but aren't they cool! I don't think you can clone limited edition genes, though. :/

I have several of Midnight Sun's offspring and I love them. I've been playing for almost a year and a half now and every year I lose more and more, which means currently that each successive month is the hardest yet for me. This year I stand to lose 21 this year, 18 of which are fairly high-pointed show ponies. Also my first Fuel the the Fire stallion and one of my first Freaky Friday mares.

Not Midnight Sun! I see his babies everywhere (I own a few myself) it'll be a shame to see him go. Same with you ice boy.
Did you have enough time to hoard some straws?

I have a couple hundred straws from each boy :) And I think I might offer altered ice 4 and 7 foals from Night Train when he passes as a way to share his memory :x I have been very strict about his line getting out. A few non ice descendants have slipped by here and there but otherwise, they have strictly remained in my barn. I'll be sure to make an official post when it comes time :) I tried cloning Midnight but unfortunately I didn't breed him so I can't :(

Could you sell midnight back to his breeder and send money so they can clone him? If they're upgraded...

His breeder unfortunately only has a basic upgrade and I no longer have the funds to clone him. But it's alright. I can create another stud just like him soon since April 13th is a Friday :) I'll probably name him Midnight Memories or something :D
