So my sisters account and my account are apparently related because I used her email. She doesn't live with me and it keeps posting things under her account. Can I merge the account I made with hers and use my mom's email for my own account? How can I merge them?

That is because you logging into the forum from the same house with both accounts. Use the sign out link on the forum to switch which forum account you are logged into. Since both accounts are played by you they need to stay on the same email.
Yes you can merge them using the "Upgrade With Game Money" area but it is very expensive.
