Foundation broodmare sale
-
Ok, y'all....I have more than 700 foundation broodmares that are of breedable age. That is way too many, especially since Im starting to have my homebred Gen 2 mares come of age and I've got decent small bands of mares all the way up to gen 4, so I'm quickly expanding...
I'm going to be culling over the next few days. All of my black mares, my rank specials and perfect foundations that aren't roan are staying put. Ditto for anything carrying brown. But if you are interested in anything else, let me know and I will try to sell direct. I know, off the top of my head, I have tons of Grullo and some silver Grullo, light and dark chestnut, red dun, bay dun, wild bay, silver bay, some creams and champagnes and pretty much every pattern possible except Appys.
I think I would like to cull back to 500 foundation mares, so this is a serious cull. All my mares are performance tested but I haven't been organized enough to show my pasture mares, so not many have points. Everyone has been auto-trained tho, so you should be able to earn points with them.
If you are looking for something specific, let me know. Otherwise, I suspect I will be putting most everything I cull in the auction between now and the end of the month. Everything is for sale at create price unless they are color tested, in which case I really would like 4500 for them to cover that cost. -
I really should stop and refrain but if you come across any wild bay mares that you think might fit into my Copper Flame line I would be very interested.
-
Any apps, paints or esp tobiano apps let me know.
-
Brown and silver, if you're letting any of that go. :)
-
Y'all, I literally have one foundation appy mare and less than 10 total, mostly show ponies. You have to go elsewhere for Aps. Lots of tobiano running around, a handful of various whites and another of Sabino. Lots of splash. Not too much frame. But by far, like most of us, most of my foundation stock is plain coated.

CHEERS WHAT HAVE YOU DONE
You enabler, you. :P
Can I please buy these three? :) One's probably liver, but you didn't mention those in your list of keepers.

Also, I see you're trying for brindle. :P Any luck so far? -
Rose you are evil to mention brindle since I got a gorgeous brown brindle colt this year who papered C and had to be snipped. I literally cried.

And you can have Thunderhead and Chocolate Muffin but Bollinger is staying put for now. I will put them on buddy for you. I should have said I'm selling at create price above. Will edit that in.Thanked by 1RoseFlute

Abbey, my silver bays and silver Grullos are fair game but all brown stays in house.
-
Come on Cheers... Why you gotta be so tempting!?

That is the link to my foundation mare herd. Blacks, anything brown or carrying At, Rank Specials and all non-roan Perfect Foundations are definitely not for sale. Most everything else may be for sale but there are, obviously, exceptions. Almost everything is bred this year but there are still 100 or so that are unbred scattered around. -
...I'm sorry. Does that cut your mustard? I doubt it. :(
How about AAARRRG WHY I'M SOORRRRY
Thanks! I'll pick them up. :) -
Not your fault. All the fault of this addictive game!
-
What have you done!!!!!!! I'm already mentally spending money I don't have. Stop it lol
-
Moon, yes to Castanets, but I'm keeping Aspen and Totally. All blacks stay in house and Aspen is doing really well in my satin line. I will sell her for create price.
-
woopsies! I read through fast and was thinking you said blacks were available. But I'll definitely take Castanets! Your merpony is the coolest one Ive seen so far! Are they random like the horses with the red stripes?
-
The seaponies were available as rare random creates one day a few months ago, I think close to Halloween. I was really lucky with it, I got her on like the 19th create that day but some people created hundreds of horses and didn't get one. I don't think they were as rare as the candycane ponies are, but certainly not common! At some point her tail will disappear, but I am loving it while it lasts! Castanets is up on buddy for you.
-
Thats so cool. I love the iridescent look to it. Got her thank you!
-
I would be interested in breeding to homozygous cream mares, if you have any. Unfortunately, I don't have the stall space right now to purchase though.
-
Rose Ridge, I do have some homozygous cream girls. I can hold them if that would be helpful.
