So... I'm wondering... (Question About My 2g Line)

So... This is my 2g stallion... :x

This is one of my 2g mares... =P~
Fridays Criminal 2g
I love her color and pattern so much, I almost want to get rid of 90% of my 2g mares and have none except like her, and the couple i won't sell... Am I wrong for this? :)) :-/ Should I not make my 2g so...not diverse? I'm not aiming for a specific pattern or color in my 2g line, but still... I mean... Would I not be doing myself any good to only keep mares like her? :-??Love,

Speaking genetically, that looks fine! As long as you’re careful about that white and frame (keeping it out of any boys is a good way to do it) then you should be safe.
And speaking in a general whole, culling your breeding lines down to a smaller number never hurts, lol! All it means is that with a smaller herd, you’ll be spending less on breeding and have more room for money makers! :DISO any and all Silver Pocket Watches!
God grant me the hbs to buy the ponies I need,
The fortitude to resist the shiny ones I truly don't,
And the wisdom to know there will always be more next time. -
I don't think it'd be too crazy. :) the only thing id watch out for is frame: as you know, it could be lethal and result it death of the foals. But I think you should be fine considering only the mare/mares will have it!
She is really pretty though.. I personally LOVE splash and frame, but ugh. I wish they weren't lethal :'(
My favorite foal with splash/frame:
As the moon fades wc

@Lallyhop
I usually try keeping harmful genes out of my stallions. One boy, I failed by accidentally GMTing his white factor to extensive. :)) Oh well. And I try not to keep very many horses with frame other than show horses, but she's so pretty, I wanna keep them all. Lol. I probably wouldn't actually be decreasing the number of g2 mares I gave (shame on me), but just replacing the few I get rid of. Lol. I have like 38 straws from that stallion, and I'm collecting eggs from the mare as we speak. I'm in trouble. :))
@MariaChapinFarm3
Yeah... I try to be careful with frame (it's slipped past a few times. :( )
Really, the mares would be the only ones with it, and they'd only be bred to that stallion, so I should be safe. I just love grey, and then the pattern is a huge plus. Even if it's frame and a W gene and lethal if wrongly crossed. Lol
Oh my. Those two are so pretty. Love the first one.Love,

HA! We used t have ponies the same color as "Moon Fades"! Particularly lots at the barn were the woman bred Welsh ponies and really liked grays.
But back then it meant we'd put too much Mrs. Stewart's in the bucket and/or left it on too long.
