How do you know what you were paid for them

If you go to the public auction page, click on Last Weeks Sales. All the horses sold for more than the base price are listed there and the price they commanded. If your horses aren't on that list, they went to FSYYC for the minimum 2500 hbs each and will now pass out of the game.

It just lists the id's of the horses so I have to go through the entire list

Well, any number under 500000 was created before July if that helps.

I went through and didn't see them.

That means they were bought by the auction bidder (I dont remember what the new name is but its something like that) for 2500 and then they get deleted from the game.
