Beautiful Horses for Stud/Brood!

You have priced your RS, Spiked Eggnog stallion lower than your other horse. I would suggest that you reverse that; the first horse has an uneven pedigree, (which is fine for breeding show horses, but for quality breeding stock it is not generally desirable) and a pretty low PT for a horse with a minimum of 3 generations behind him. The RS horse is Guaranteed to have at LEAST perfect breeding ability, and performance score for a foundation.
ETA: The 3rd stallion is dead, and the 4th horses record is missing. Did they go through the auction? -
i just price them as the game suggests. Also can you explain what you mean by most of that? Im still new to the game and have troubles understanding this stuff.
-
also the last two were in auction. dont know how the 3rd one is dead though as he was only 5 years old when i had him
-
The 3rd horse was 'passed out of the game' by the auction. The only horses that make it out of the auction and 'remain in the game' are the ones that are purchased by other players, and foundation horses that have perfect Performance Testing scores AND perfect breeding ability (a number which we don't get to see/know), and those go to the Foundation Rescue to be resold.
RS = Rank Special. Those are horses that Ammit makes especially for different events throughout the year. They have special colors and some have other special bonus'. The least any RS will be is a Perfect Foundation: Perfect Performance Testing scores (which is 9.9) AND perfect breeding ability.
I don't know where you saw that the stud fees should be the way they are, but they really are backwards.
Even generations are harder to explain. Here is a link to a couple threads that might help out: http://hj2.huntandjump.com/forum/discussion/14259/horse-generation-breeding-and-even-ness#Item_10

Also, here is a link to my list of links that might help a bit, some of it may not be what you need just yet, but its a good start. http://hj2.huntandjump.com/forum/discussion/15736/links-list#Item_3
You can also join my Beginners Barn chat room if you would like. It allows folks to chat in real time, which can really help in some situations. Just let me know your stable ID# -
thank you so much!
