This foal is a ridding horse?
  • I'm really confused why he is a ridding horse all of his ancestors are warmblood I don't like him image

  • His parents are probably very light warmbloods. You can breed drafts down to riding horses and riding horses up to drafts. Just like you can breed height up or down.

    I think hes cute.
  • Yeah I got a draft filly out of 2 warmbloods once and only once it was weird
  • If he is looking for a new home I've got space ;)
I've had all sorts of different mixtures as I'm trying to breed riding ponies but to get the colours I've added in different types I've had drafts from 2 warmbloods (which is really annoying when you are trying to breed down).

  • Pm me we will work something out I'm bad at it too lol
  • Dad's bone is 1.6 and mums is 1.68. Foals is 1.39. That's a .21 difference between the foal and daddy, which isn't much really.

    Thanked by 1kintara
  • Yeh the parents are nearly riding horses too, if you don't want to breed riding horses make sure you put your lighter boned warmbloods to heavier boned ones for their foals
  • Ok ill do that thank you :)
