Anyone can earn awards, but newer players with predominantly early Generation younger horses are at a distinct disadvantage in the Color based clubs, dominated by upper gen high quality horses.

Newer players are most likely to gain Awards in the current Era Breeders club. In fact, the Era clubs were specifically created to give newer players a more even playing field in the clubs.

You win Awards by having horses that earn lots of points or produce very high quality foals. Awards are only given out if that category is filled. They are given out on the 28th of the month, so make sure you get your horses registered before the 28th.
