Nexus question

I have 4 nexus foals that I'm trying to register in the breeders clubs. They don't appear in the Fantasy club, but pop up in the different color clubs. But, every time I go in to register new foals, the nexus ones pop back up to register, like I never did it. They are only het nexus, not hom. Is this a glitch, or is it just the way nexus is because of what happened with the gene?
