Suprise brindles
-
I just discovered two brindles I bred and sold (auction) without realizing what they were. Has anyone done that? They are both 4 years old and were born the same year I bred my first ever brindle. That was a lucky year and I didn't even know!#28036

Yep I've done it. Another Player found the brindle colt and bought him from the auction. I didnt even know it till they sent me a message.

No, but I HAVE bought a hom dp het sooty stud from auction! Sadly when I upgraded he papered C so got the snip.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

I bought one in auction and gave it back to the breeder in exchange for a different horse.
-
I accidentally did that and luckily got the filly back she was a good baby

I put DP colts in auction sometimes, all pass SBA, so if you see one from me, it should paper ok.
The brindles I sold were both altered, and they are showing well for their new owners, so no big deal. I'm just amazed that I've had 4 born and didn't even know about 2. It's funny. :D#28036 -
I send treasures to auction quite frequently...and find that some people watch for these little treasures as they normally are the ones who get the bids. I've sent many a foal that didn't fit my criteria but may benefit someone else. No matter what the genes.ID# 24891

I'm always on the lookout for even snipped Brindles and you can search for brindle without gene testing so I often pick them up. If anyone wants them back after it is no issue. If they are intact and not showing their brindle, I have often PM'd people to let them know! It's so easy to let them slip through if you have a lot to scroll through :)

@Dinascar I think you have one of my altered brindles. I'm just glad someone noticed and picked them up. I'd hate to find out one got deleted, although I'd probably never know if it did.#28036

I forgot I bred a 3g brindle, so here she is!

If only she weren't so pale, but she is pseudo-pearl like her pa. :D
It turns out that over my two and a half years, I've bred 14 lined brindles. :D Six Have already rolled out, and one I accidentally sent to auction that RipshinCreekFarm managed to bid highest on. :P

He is a pretty show pony doing ok for me :)
My favorite that I bought from someone else is this guy, he got made into a warmblood because I don't breed RHs but my best papering in a brindle:-

Here is one I missed that Dinascar picked up. I had not even checked for brindles since there were no brindles in the pasture. Glad Dinascar saved her. She was in my bootstrap group, but did not paper high enough.

She is a very good show pony - that PT is great for a brindle :)
