Could Associated Accounts be Neighbors?

Hi, I am familiar with the whole people getting associated with accounts that are not theirs and the whole IP address rotating thing. Just got curious and looked at my associated account list and found 4 accounts that are not mine. Could these other account possibly be people near either where I live at home or college? I make friends from all over the world here, just got me curious, or do IP addresses get rotated widely enough that there really isn't clue? I hope this doesn't sound weird. haha

From the explanation I got, many of the big Internet providers use the same IP addresses it seems.ID# 24891

My understanding is IP addresses are rotated over wide areas for the big providers. However, if you have ever played off your college campus WiFi, it’s also entirely possible that some other player has also at some point hooked into that WiFi either as a student, faculty or staff member or a visitor. I seem to collect at least one new “associate” every time I take a big international trip because I will hook into lots of public WiFi spots on those!Thanked by 1Wildland Acres
