Keep, Cull or Auction

God grant me the hbs to buy the ponies I need,
The fortitude to resist the shiny ones I truly don't,
And the wisdom to know there will always be more next time.

If you dont need a stallion then Ill sell or auctions them myself.
I know I only keep one stallion for euch generation. I find others studing out their stallions to keep form inbreeding. -
Geld.
This is why I cull using the search and don’t even look at the pictures until I’m done.
Would there be even a question whether to keep intact or alter if this was a line of chestnuts? Not likely.
Both boys descend from a *Star stud sired by a *Star grandsire. Both papered A which is a step down in quality.
The only reason to keep intact is the colour and you can try again next season for a Star.
As for keep or auction that’s up to you. Personally I enjoy my show army keeping the coffers filledThanked by 1CeffylDwr -
@Bandit119 only reason they aren't gelded is they passed BA :) I automatically BA everything except bootstrap mares but even there I'm slowly getting rid of my Red papered mares and only keeping blue and golds as I get more of them. If these boys are kept they will be gelded because like you said they are a drop in papers. I'm just torn on whether or not to keep them cause they are pretty, cull them because they are a drop in papers or auction them in case somebody wants them for their bootstrap herd. Id personally auction them. There are a bunch of players that would love to have more bootstrap nexus babies (myself included!)

I personally SBA all the bootstrap colts. If they passed SBA, then they'd be very high A's and maybe worth keeping for someone else's bootstrap line, but even then I'm kinda agreeing with Bandit on snipping them by papers anyways. A star/blue cross like that should easily produce star boys :3ISO any and all Silver Pocket Watches!

If you're looking to sell I'd be interested in buying 1. I want to add some Nexus to my Wrong Warp line and it would help bring up my PT in that line. I only breed by bootstrap/uneven so I don't mind that they are a lower paper. My WW girls are yellow, red and 1 blue.

Lol I breed nexus/axiom on hj1 and ice here. So I know how hard it is to snip the pretties.
I bred my first group of homo axiom embryos last week and was Snapchating the foal pics to my friend (I was on the fence whether to buy axiom this summer and she actually sent me money to buy the genes for one of my 2 studs) it was super hard to hit bulk test SBA knowing most if not all of them would be snipped but also knowing it would be easier on me to do it now rather than when I dump a bunch of foals into their barn and they all got snipped after I was more attached to them. (Since I use the bulk test most of my horses have been tested multiple times)
I’m (Im)patiently waiting for pastures to auto run to see their first batch of grand foals hit the ground fingers crossed for some coloured babies that stay intact!
