Short Warmblood stallion threw Sport Ponies?
-
Pretty much as the title states, I have a stallion who is just barely a warmblood at 14.3 hands. I think all but maybe two of my mares are warmbloods and this pasture season I had the surprise of him throwing two Sport ponies from 15hh mares. Does the game randomly generate height, or is there some hidden factors? I've had 17hh's thrown from tiny mares/average stallions before, but this is a first haha.

You can breed down from horses to ponies and vice versa. You can also breed from light to heavy and back again. Or you can be like me and sort of mix and match everything, without a great deal of focus on the actual size/bone and just enjoy watching the foals turn into a mix of the adult body types!

I once bred 13.1hh stallion to a 13.3hh mare and got a 15.2hh foal! There must be a random number factor as well as averaging the parents' heights.
