Link color blends into text

    Since the font update, I have noticed that the color of a word used for a link is so close to the color of the rest of the test that it is hard to tell the link is there. It isn't a problem if the URL is put in as the link since that has the obvious form of a link, but I usually link search results to a word since the search URL is so long. Has anyone else noticed and been bothered by this? I use Firefox for my browser both on my laptop and on the family desktop computer. Links appear the same on both.

    I agree it is pretty close. I do know Ammit was tweaking it a bit a while back.

    It was specifically changed to this color away from another color because that was too hard to read. Readability must always trump distinction.

    Can you specify if you mean the game, the forum or both? And double check on that first. They are not the same. On the game all links are underlined and change colors when you mouse over them. So there really is no reason for them to be a different color though they are black and darker then the rest of the text. From your post I THINK you mean on the forum, but want to be sure.

    I do mean on the forum. The underline on the game links is enough to make them stand out. Could the forum be set to automatically underline links the same way? I agree that readability is more important, but some distinction would be useful.
