I think I remember Ammit saying that tack pack items do not go with the horse when it is sold, but I'm pretty sure it happens.

For example; I just bought this horse via the auction, and it came with the tangled Christmas lights. I own the tack pack, but have never used this particular item. http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=1041104

I can understand the free items staying with the horse, but the purchased tack pack items are supposed to go away, aren't they?

I remember Ammit saying that as well but I have some tack on horses that I have purchased that are from tack packs I don't even own and they have stayed.

If you own the tack pack, the tack items will stay. If you don’t own the tack pack, the first time the horse is refreshed it will lose the items you don’t own.

I don’t own Luster Dust or the draft tack pack and I just refresh the horse and those items disappear. Items from packs I own remain (so if it has a docked tail but a long and luscious mane, the mane stays and the tail reverts to the normal tail).

What about deceased horses? At example, the pewter/amethyst/something else backgrounds were available for all players just after they appeared. Then they became available only for premium upgrades, but I have some deceased horses which use these backgrounds.

But deceased horses are not "owned" by you, are they? If the tack pack stays, I'd presume that the archives has access to all of the tack packs.

But how do you get the Colesiums or the show ring backgrounds? Do I have to upgrade to unlock them?

You need to go to the horses page, then to the tab that says Tack, then find the background you want, then click Add Tack Item, then Refresh the horses page.

I got a draft mare that had the fluffy legs and when I changed her tack the fluffy legs went away. I know the tack use to stay with the horse, but now I believe that if you do not have the tack pack tied to your account it goes away. I also noticed too that if you copy a tack set to another horse that has a retired background, that too goes away, So the tack thing has changed a lot.

Confluence I mean Ik how to do that but if you look at my horse "Larities Lannister" He has the Coleisum background and I just don't know if you upgrade for that one or not lol

Did you look at the drop down menu? There are free selections. I'm pretty sure the Colossium is one of them. It says: background | The Colossium.

Ok, I had to go over to HJ1 and check my free account. Looks like the Colossium isn't one of the free backgrounds. I'm sorry, I don't know if it was discontinued, or is part of a tack pack.

yes you can, there is a color chart on the tack page when click tab button, you just type the numbers in of the color you would like. You can choose up to three colors on some tack items, there are three boxes next to your tack drop down, you type the color number in them, than add tack and update your horses photo. Hope that helps :)

If you don’t choose any colors, they automatically come out white.

I don’t think you can use the blanket tack pack on foals.

This mare is wearing the full mesh skrim sheet with no colors picked:

This mare is wearing the exact same sheet in Crush (mesh) Lilac (binding on the edges) and Ice Blue (little padded bit at the withers)

Well I know how to do the color chart but I didn't see any other color other than blue. I'm trying to work for that tack pack along with the mane, bridle, and the big fluff.

The western tack pack does indeed work on sport ponies. It should work on any size other than foals.
