Whiskey Oaks Thinning out my Herds
-
I need to thin out my herds. I started with my Silver Bay and I'm moving into my Chili(DP) herd. I will keep adding to this as I go through and cull horses I wont be using. These are the cream of the crop. Everyone is put through SBA, all stallions must be superior to sir, and everyone is consistent. I use tack as visual markers so here is the run down all mares in a english long rein set with a red boarder in the saddle pad are red papered. All mares in a blue western set are blue papered. All my stallions wear the same set the difference is in the color. All B papered boys have a red stud belt and all A papered boys have a blue stud belt. I have separated them into mares and stallions and into generations to make them easy for you to find what you are looking for.

I have hit the max number of horses up for sale. Once a few more have sold I will be putting more up.
-
I still have a lot of horses up and tons more to thin out, like my Sugarbush herd. If your interested in a particular horse but the price is to high, message me. I'm more then willing to lower prices on certain horses on a case by case basis.
-
I have hit my max again. I have a lot of herds I need to thin out. Either they will stay here as show ponies or be sold to someone who can use them. Here is a list of the many lines I have. If your looking for something specific let me know and I can help you find it and get some good horses into the hands of people who will use them. Most are 2nd generation but I might have a few of 3rd generation too.
Liver DP
Cremello/Perlino (and other creams)
Silver bay including DP
Silver Grullo and other shades
Silver Buckskin and other shades including DP
Leo Appaloosa

Liver DP, always looking for good mares
-
I'm looking for a DP Silver Bay stud and possibly a few DP Silver Bay mares if you have any left :)
-
I have foals to get through for my liver DP line to see who will be up for sale. All the older horses are gone except for one mare. The Older Silver Bays have been up for awhile. I'm not sure who is left but I do have more foals to go through too.
Oops, never mind, found this girl in my Silver black barn because dad is my Silver Black herd sir :)

The only Silver Bay stallion I have left who might have DP would be this guy.

Here are my Silver Black 2nd generation horses. Jack Sparrow is the only one that I absolutely wont part with.

Okay, I will add you to my chat. How is 7,000hbs for each girl and 8,000hbs for the boy. That is what I have been selling everyone at lately.
-
That would be perfect, thank you :)
-
Thank you. Your helping me make room for new horses that I think will fit my program better and making sure good horses don't sit and age away in a show herd :)

@wendolyne I have a good handful of pintaloosa mares. Is there any colors or paper level your looking for?
@RoseMorning My snowflake is not a herd I normally sell horses from. I have been known from time to time to let some go here and there. I will have to look through them. I know I don't have many. By red do you mean Chestnut or are you talking about a red colored bay? -
at least a red. just about any colors as long as they are flashy.lol

I'm in my 3rd Generation breeding of my snowflake line. I know I have a few red papered girls in pasture. At 4th generation any red papered girls get snipped. All the girls in pasture have been bred this season already but I can flush someone before I breed next season. I'll message you with pictures of the red papered girls and you can pick. That way I will have an easy way to look back because knowing me I will forget.Thanked by 1RoseMorning

I have a lot of good breeding horses up for sale and I'm still adding to it every day as I go through my generations and put pastures together. Added some appaloosa and some grullo recently.Thanked by 1FireFrostFarms

One I don't own and the other is currently in pasture. What specifically are you looking for? I might be able to find some for you. At the top of the thread are links to what I have gone through and put up. If you don't see anything there let me know. I still have a lot that I have not gotten to yet.
-
Prices on the Mares is normally negotiable but the price on the stallions is firm. The reason being the amount of testing I have put everyone through to this point. The boys have had between 6,100 - 10,100 hb's worth of testing on them. Thank you for your understanding.
-
If you happen across any cremello or liver mares you aren’t using, I would be interested in taking a look.
-
I know I have gone through both of those herds and don't currently have any mares. I know I have a few stallions up right now. I might have more after next season. It depends on the what kind of foals I get and who gets pulled from the pasture.

Will take livers, dp, leo apps
