See if she registers in the breeders clubs for them, though as far as I remember GP doesn't show up on foals (I don't breed for it so I could be wrong), if she can be registered in the KP breeders club then reroll her until she shows, if she can't she either missed the gene completely or just has one copy, either way if you like her enough you can GMT it onto her.

Just because she has two kit genes does not make her automatically KP. Just like being an Appaloosa doesn’t automatically make you a snowflake. It’s a totally separate and un-gene-testable (so not a real word, but it works for me) hidden gene that’s only expressed when homozygous.

Breed her back to a Hom KP stud a couple times, only way to tell if she’s a carrier

I know my mares are carriers through their sire. He was homo for it. I guess I don't understand because I am linebreeding his line to get mostly KPGP foals.

KP and GP are both recessive so the only way to guarantee foal with the genes is to breed 2 homozygous horses together, otherwise you have a 25% chance of them being homozgyous KP (the only genetype that shows it, and only if they have 2 kit genes), 50% of heterozygous KP and 25% change of no KP, the same goes for GP.
Once you add it the chances of the foal inheriting the 2 kit genes you need for the KP to show, or the extension gene and the agouti gene you need for GP to show the odds are vastly smaller.

Would you like straws from either of these 2 to increase your chances of KP? Though neither has GP.

It's just going to take a while and a lot of luck to build a breeding group to give you the genes you want, I think you've picked 2 of the hardest genes to breed for which is why they are so rare in the game. I do want to eventually breed KP SF horses, but atm I'm focusing of KP, though I do have a couple of het KP and get SF youngster coming up for breeding age in the next couple of seasons.

Definitely, I got this stunner today, she is homozygous for everything I am breeding for atm.
