Tattoo Problems

Without the old tattoo maker I'm having an issue making the back ground transparent. Anyone have any fixes for this?
-
You have to do that when you create the image. It's specific to your image editor.

Yeah, I tried to do it with paint but it was unsuccessful. Hoping someone knows how to do it or has another free art program like paint that its easier to do.
-
Paint does not do transparency you need a real image editor. GIMP is free but I don't know much about it as I use photoshop only.

The best free program is definitely GIMP. To do a transparent background, create your blank image and add a transparent layer. You'll delete the opaque layer after your image is created so that you can see it better. Always work with multiple layers so there's no chance of a "Fatal" error you can't undo and you'll have a better creating experience. There are lots of helpful tutorials on Youtube and online to help you get used to it since it is definitely a whole lot more to take in than Paint. Another note, when using transparency on GIMP, always save as a .PNG file. If you'd like some help finding tutorials, I can PM a few to you this afternoon.Thanked by 1fj1482

Thank you both. I've been playing with Paint 3D. Seems to have worked on there. Now I just have to create something small enough that it shows up decent. :)

I've been having problems too. @Phenergan I would love to see some tutorials please. :)
-
Millions of them if you google your program. :)

So I have found my answer. If anyone else has Paint 3D it will work just like the old tattoo edit system.
Scale the canvas down to 25x25 pixels. Choose the pixel pen and have at it. After your done you simply make the canvas transparent and your done. Just make sure you use 2D and not turn it into a 3D shape.
