Hey y'all,

So my dream here is a classic champagne appy to put snowflake on. Up til now I've had really good luck picking up rank special or perfect foundation horses for my GMT needs, but this time I'm not having much joy with that. I know I have a month, and I really am willing to be patient here, but i figure a lot of us are on or planning create sprees for candy ponies and figured it's worth this post.

I would really appreciate it if you post your HHs that give black, champagne and/or Appaloosa horses. Also perfect foundation or top notch producers! If you happened to get one of these and want to sell me your creates, I am looking for 2 or 3 year old colts.

I am willing to buy foundation stallions that meet my criteria, regardless of when they were created. Stallions must be foundations, less than 5 years old with no living foals. They must pass GA and SAT. I will buy horses on this sliding scale:

Champagne that is not classic: create price.
Black: 2750.
Appy that isn't black or champagne: 3k
Classic champagne: 5k
Black or champagne appy: 5k
Classic champagne appy: 10k

TNP: add 3K
Perfect Foundation: add 5k
Rank special: I will pay the going rate for that rank special (unused Catch A Blue Moon anyone?). I would expect to spend a minimum of 25k.

If you have color tested or PTd, I will reimburse you for that.
If you have stallion papered the horse and it is a C, add 3k to the price (covers the test plus a bonus).
If you have compared the stallion to a rank special (if it is not a perfect foundation or rank special) and it is AGA, add your test price plus 5k. (I know the test price varies depending on which upgrade you have).
If something extraordinary has happened (like a B papered foundation or spontaneous brindle) I will pay whatever extra you think is appropriate!

I would prefer that these horses not have cream, dun or roan but am willing to look at everything.

I only need one stallion in the end, so if someone comes forward with a rank special or perfect foundation I will not require any other stallions. I will still be looking for mares at that point but these prices are for stallions specifically.

I had them both for sale but took them off the market so you can look at them. I don't want them to be snatched just in case you do want one lol.

Moon, I would buy all 3 for the prices mentioned in the first post. I realize I'm gonna have excess, but I am ok with throwing whoever doesn't work in the auction or turning them into show ponies. Thanks so much for thinking of me!

Do you want black mares? I have several from my create spree. Also a couple of grullo appy mares. I think the blacks are ponies, if that matters.

I would love the Grullo appys! I think I still have enough blacks hanging around at the moment but I wouldn't mind an extra 2 or 3 to replace some of what is standing in the show mare barn. Pony doesn't matter.

Anyone know if th riding horse/pony update is coming to this server soon? They look really cool!

I wonder how the server will tell if a foal is normal or riding horse if it's a crossbreed? Random? Hidden number?

She said on a FB post it will be the same as it is now if you breed a horse to a pony--there's some sort of algorithm for it!

ok y'all, I have a handful of colts to choose from. Currently the front runner is a black tobiano, but I'm interested in having a few more choices before j get that far. I would particularly love to grab a few black appy colts if they're out there...and please keep those HHs coming! Thanks everybody who has contributed horses or HHs so far!

There's no crossbreed, it's variable... you can theoretically breed light horses from warmbloods if you breed the low end of the height (?) spectrum.

Daffodils in the snow are one of the strongest symbols of hope ever, in my opinion! I'm really excited about that!!! Spring is coming, y'all! (Or autumn as the case may be)

Yeah, good point! I like that. :) Either way, the weather will be less extreme. :P Personally, I like to really get frozen in the winter so I appreciate summer more, so I'm hoping it'll still freeeeeze for a few weeks. :P

Here in Tennessee, we have a saying, "It always snows on the buttercups." (what they call daffodils here... where I'm from up north buttercups are a different flower but that's another story). Anyway whenever the daffys are in bloom, winter always gives one last gasp and snows on them. And in the 10 years I've been here it's always proven true. So I think snow on the daffodils is perfect. :)
