A papered + Blue Papered = Red paper?

Why did this happen? I've had a couple of foals where this happened. I'd expect it to be an A or Blue papered foal.Id #: 43017

Remember, a horse has a range that they can throw. If you've got a low blue and a low A, they can throw a high Red/B horse if you're unlucky. Those horses can still throw A/Blue's, the cross was just unlucky that time.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

I've had a lot of bad luck this breeding season, sadly. Most of my foals (Blue to A, B to Red) have been snipped. I was beginning to think I did something wrong or my horses are poor quality.Id #: 43017

I got luck today and bred a B papered stud with a Blue papered mare and got a Blue filly. Go figure!
