Next Season Auctions Rules
-
I've never put up a forum auction for one of my stallions. I have a 2 year old that I was going to do auctions for next season. If I remember correctly, I'd have to wait until the 28th/29th to do that since this season is still active? Or can I hold the auction since the auction wouldn't be over until after the season ends?

It's better to wait until the current season ends. Otherwise things get REALLY confusing!

You can start a forum auction to sell a horse at any time.
If you're talking about an auction for straws, it might be better to start one after the next breeding season starts. This is such a busy forum that threads can get shoved down the list onto back pages fairly quickly, even with all the Herd Helper postings collected into one. I would suggest posting it on the 1st, with a slot for each straw you are offering, the minimum bid you'll accept, and setting an ending for the auction. I've seen this done before, and it seems to work well.
