I am going to guess wild buckskin, but he is super dark for that still. Is that just sooty or is it DP. He only registers in the cream breeders club.

Test him and see what color he is and if hes got sooty Im thinkin hes DP

Since he registers in the Cream club, he must be a buckskin, so I would say that he's probably got at least 1 DP, depending on how many Ssty alleles he also has. I think he's probably either SstySsty DP or Ssty DPDP

He won't register for the Liver club because I think that the Chocolate Palominos are the only creams with a name trigger for that club.

I actually think he might be dark because of the A+ bug. (Some A+ horses show up way darker than they are supposed to.)

I want to wait to color test him until I'm sure I'm keeping him. I've got to wait for the auction to run also. I'll post an update once he is tested. :)

If he were mine, I don't know if I would test him. I don't know what info you would get from it. I suppose if he is SstyS you'll know he probably has one copy of DP, but I would bet money on him being a SstySsty wild buckskin who is bugged.

I bet not DP but homozygous sooty. I need to breed my DP wild bay stallion to some creams to be sure, but I think he looks sooty, not red, DP only intensifies red pigment, so it should never give this mousy color.

Wild bay buckskin with 1 DP and no sooty. Closest I can get with putting my DP wild over 2 buckskin mares. Other two came out wild bays! I will breed the rest of that pasture later this week and there are some palominos in there too so hopefully I will get another buckskin to show.

Yes, I do have a lot of those dark buckskins, Abbey had a couple of them also. I rerolled two of them that also had dun, and they came out way lighter. A normal looking buckskin dun. But all of my dark buckskins that I rerolled are all CcrC, A+At, and StySty, and stayed the same color. I think yours will have the same results as mine do, so no need to test him. I am almost 99.9% positive it is the dark buckskin bug like Kaquel and Cheers think it is. I like the bug color though, so some of my older ones I haven't rerolled.

I can see champagne and white 3, but beside them I can't tell if it's cream silver or flaxen palomino. :P
