Would there be a way to add the primary barn page to automatic showing? If I am really busy or not to great mind wise I forget almost all the time to click on enter the barn.
If there was a way to click the white squares on each barn page and allow us to send certain horses to the auction.
On the search page have a square that we can click to save the horse we want to look at again, kind of like a book mark.

Having it show on the barn page whether a mare has already been bred for the season would be extremely helpful.

I would really like to see preview photos of the horses when using the tile way of viewing my barns. I am a visual person, and have a hard time remembering details by just looking at a name and a bit of description. It doesn't have to be a large picture just a smaller version of what we see when we click on the horse name. Just an idea.

It could go right after the stats of the horse and before the pedigree. That way you can get a large amount of information without having to look through each horse to see who would go well with who.

Also, I would really like to have the option to place stalls I earn through XP to the barn of my choosing instead of my primary barn.

Honestly, I wish there was a way to preview tack before you buy it, or have a way to search for certain tack packs.

But understandably not even close to an important consideration

I wish search had an option for horses for sale/breeding in buddy chats. Some buddy chats have a lot of horses, and getting all the pages up to compare is hard. Or watching for new horses.

I wish horses for sale or breeding in buddy chat had a status symbol in the barn just like the do if they’re for public sale or breeding (maybe a different symbol, but some symbol). I also wish there was a way for me to click something on my horse’s page to go to the chat where they are listed for sale or breeding so I can easily take them down...

And finally, I wish the barn pages were better optimized for viewing in the portrait orientation on my iPad. Currently I’d say more than half the screen is taken up by the two side bars (on every page) which makes the barn pages in particular much harder to navigate. The click boxes for bulk changes are obscured by the twitter feed. I wish I could make that feed go away on all but my Member Home Page...I don’t need it up all the time and it would generally make the layout way way way easier to use. As it currently stands I’m constantly flipping my iPad around to move between the barn/pasture pages as I cull/name foals and evaluate their mothers and then switch to buddy chats. I can’t type effectively in landscape orientation and can’t work in the barns in portrait orientation.

I would love to be able to see a list of horses for sale in each chat. Not sure if possible but not easy to look through 20 horses and see if I would like them. Or alteast some way to number them or tell if mares or studs.
Also I know you said not prob gonna happen but I wish their was an easier way toove horses to a bar from a search page. It's takes me hours to sort horses.
And last I would love a way to add a prefix or suffix to horses from the barn. like add hv to all horses and 3g to end of horses. Would make things so much faster

I second what Cheers said about the navigation panels, and what hidden said about prefixes/suffixes, but would add that I would like those prefixes/suffixes be searchable, and have the option of appearing publicly or kept private.

@Cheers we do not have a twitter feed, do you mean the alert bar? It should be under the barn info. That was patched some time ago. Have you tried using tile mode? Sounds like that would be a better fit.

Ammit it was patched and now it isn’t anymore. Now the barn scrolls across but it’s under the alert bar again.

There are a couple of features that I think could be very helpful, assuming they aren't too difficult, logistically.

I love using the horse search pages for planning breeding matches both on the mare and stallion side and use it extensively. It would be immensely helpful to have the ability to select horses and mass move them to different barns and pastures from the search page. I love the mass move option on the stables pages but, say, I'm looking at all my Second Gen mares in search that are scattered between different pastures, the only way to move them is to open their pages one by one and move them.

Additionally, I would love to be able to view horses that are for sale/breeding through the buddy chats in the horse search format. Just like there's a link to the search page for all of our personal horses in a given barn, it would be helpful if there were a link to a search page that listed all the horses advertised in the buddy chat.

I thought I had read through carefully to make sure I wasn't repeating anything but just as I posted, I realized I'm pretty much reiterating what hiddenv said! So, feel free to ignore!

I know we can put an entire barn in the auction at one time. But I would also be appreciative of the ability to use the check boxes to add them to the auction. Like we can add tack, or move them, it would be awesome if we could also auction that way.

It would be Awesome if we could “save” some searches. I find myself going back through the same few searches over and over (for example) 2G draft stallions ready to breed, or non foundation riding horse Appaloosa mares for sale. Stuff like that.

I would love to be able to view in search all the stallions I have straws from it would make it so much easier to find a straw for a mare :)

@horsey2, you can do that already in a way. Go to Sell Straws tab in the breeding lab, and you can look through all the straws/eggs you have. Click on the horse/name, and you can determine a match you want to make.

I agree with horsey. I can't remember all the eggs and sperm I have. So I have to click on them and eventually give up. Would be way easier to see

maybe something so you could see what genes a horse carries on the search page instead of clicking on it and looking, i know that you can put what genes you do and dont want on the search page however it would just be easier to look at the genes on the search page. if that is at all possible that is :)

It would also be nice (but I understand if too hard) to pull a whole barn from auction. Or maybe just a are you sure you want to add said barn to auction? I have accidentally sent hundreds of horses to auction and then had to go back and click each one to take out of auction. Doesn't happen alot but when it happens it's terrible.

I've noticed a few chat rooms the owner has let their upgrade expire. When I click it the page tells me this and then gives me the option to go back to the main chat page. I would really like it to also give me the option to leave the chat group. My bell is always filled in now and it kind of drives me nuts. I guess it's OCD kicking in lol

I'd love to be able to write a few paragraphs on my stable or barn pages for visitors to see. "Hi, this is my stable, this is what I'm focused on, this is what my goals are, I only breed horses that meet requirements A B and C, all foals for sale have passed SBA, straws are always available from the studs in X barn, horses with Y tattoo are in-house and will not be available for outside breeding" etc. etc. etc.

I am a newbie so forgive me if any of these suggestions sound impertinent. They are just based on my fresh experience with the gameplay so far.

-Is there a way to get the barn “Sort By” selection we chose to stick? I hate sorting a barn by something like “Age” or “PT” only to have it switch back to default as soon as I exit the page. I would like it to stay at whatever I set it to until I wish to change it.
-When scrolling through the horses in your barn (I did not know that existed until I read this thread. Thanks!) could the scrolling match whatever “Sort By” preset is set on the barn? I think it is set to sort by ID# right now and it never matches my sort order and confuses the heck out of me.
-I would also love a small preview pic of each horse in the barn’s main page. Maybe just in tile mode? The “Move Horse” and “Enter Show” icons could be made into something smaller like in the list mode and that may leave enough room for a small preview pic.
-I like BurntHillCreeks suggestion of choosing where XP stalls go. Or could there be an option to merge barns (Just smaller barns)? Or is this a feature already?
-Could the tattoos have embedded links? So I could click on a listed tattoo and it would take me to the page of who it belongs to. Or in the case of the HH tattoos link me to a description for that HH. (Lallyhop already mentioned a mouse over feature for HH tattoos that I think is awesome too.)
-It would be nice to be able to “bookmark” horses in the auction catalogue before the auction starts (or add them to some sort of pre-bidding watchlist). (I also second Wendolyne’s “Cancel Bidding” idea.”)
-Is it possible to have some sort of “Stable Leaderboard?” I would love to be able to see how my horses are doing just against each other, showing and breeding-wise.

I would think if you clicked on a tattoo link it should take you to a search of all horses who have that tattoo.

Perhaps the tattoo mouse-over would have the owner/hh info, and then actually clicking would take you to a search of other horses that have it. If this was the case, then maybe when making tattoos, the owner would be able to put in a brief (character-limited) description of the tattoo, which would pop up in the mouse-over.

In the pastures you can scroll to look for the horses you want in the chat. Maybe its called a drop down?

I think she means the scrolling menu in pastures that you can ctrl-click to add multiple mares to it.

We won't add that but there has been many suggestions to be able to select multiple horses at a time on the barn page.

I personally don't think we need another way to select multiples for the barn page, just maybe a couple more options of what to do with the ones who have been selected with the current tick boxes. :)
