so recently i have taken it upon myself to go through each and every page for foals in the auction (i know its a lot XD) searching for hidden treasures as i find that people are as interested in foals as they are the high pointed show ponies, which is understandable. however there have been many foals that i have found that would have been deleted from the game, one of which is a hom snowflake stallion. so i thought i would show my best finds here in an attempt to try and get the foals noticed more so less hidden gems can be deleted from the game. :)

i hope that by showing you these foals it will encourage people to look through the foal section as i know that people are told 'buy the show ponies' however some of these foals could be great show ponies and have all the genes you breed for. plus they are usually a lot cheaper than the horses with the same genes however a bit more grown up.
now after me showing you mine, what are your favourite auction baby buys? :)

Last week I got a 2G brindle Mare that passed BA. :D

I go through foundation mares and find any carrying DP since alot bred for it. I was surprised how many I found in auction! :O

yes i do frequently see DP mixed in the bunch, i especially love it on bays as it makes the dapples look stunning! :x

I got this little guy in the last auction, I bid on him first before i found a better fitting colt for my lines. I was just sure someone would outbid me as I had bid on him fairly early in the day, but nope, he came home with me. Glad I was able to save him, so to speak, I'll find a use for him cause I was sure going to before I found a colt carrying Champagne and ice.

I did a quick sweep and there are a fair few untested DP bay mares in tomorrow's auction. I'd take them home, but I spent my hbs on IVs today before I spent them on something else.

Probably half of the horses I buy I got from the auction, there are a lot of great deals that people just don't notice. I've seen a lot that are pretty much identical to horses going for 15k+ on the forum go for create price or a little more. It's how I've managed to nearly fill up my barns with the genes I want for my herd. I have trouble resisting such a good deal on a nice pixel pony. lol

I find a lot of gems in auction, currently low on hbs so can't do a sweep the next couple auctions like I have been

I've got roughly 2,500 horses entered in tomorrow's auction, most of them untested, so statistically speaking there's gotta be some gems in there I haven't noticed.

How does 8k sound for the black liver? That tends to be about what they go for at auction.

I found a couple older stallions that have ice8 for auction with no bids. Ones 4 and would be a quick way for someone to pick up ice8 into their lines. The other is two I believe.

I just scored three het snowflake fillies who'd all passed SBA prior to sale. I was the lone bidder. (On the other hand, the pretty liver filly I bought failed papering and had a lousy PT. Win some, lose some!)

I think it was a predominate liver filly bust this auction for a lot of us, though I did get one g2 liver girl that passed! That said I lucked out on a meteoric even bred grandson het w10 that no one else bid on probably cause he's a stallion and I landed a super cute G2 i5 mare that papered red that no one else bid on. Oh and a stunning blue axiom show gelding.

I do wish people would BA their castoffs before sending them through the sale, but sometimes you just have to take the gamble, win or lose.

im glad to see much more interest taken in the auctions now (i probably havent made much of a difference :)) ) but i think just showing people what there is to offer can encourage more people to look for themselves and snag some really good bargins :)

Picked up the little liver filly rebel country, just did BI on her, she papered blue. I figured she'd likely be red but she was a nice little surprise considering I was the only bidder on her.
