does anyone else get excited when their horses produce big babies ? and i'm talking 16.3 + , or is it just me ? here are my biggest babies <3<br />

Love your two there! I personally don't pay a lot of attention to the size of the horses I breed, but I know a couple of players like breeding at the extreme ends of the spectrum. I think Rose Flute really likes the giraffe sized ponies too.

I think it is cool also. I got a couple of 17.0 hands horses this last season, they look huge in their 2 year old images.

I got a nice big colt, but he got gelded. 17.2 for height. Lovely Appaloosa markings and DP too, was so sad he got snipped.

I have 8 horses @ 17.1 HH All but one are Mares
Here is a picture of one as a 2yr old
If they where any bigger they would not fit lol

XD At one point I decided to buy anything in the auction over 16.3, but that didn't last long. :P I happen to know that there's one 18 hander out there. :D
Realistically, I wouldn't collect tall horses. If I ever get a real horse, he'll probably be around 15.2, because I'm short. :P

I like the tall horses in the game more.

In real life I am like RoseFlute. I like them on the shorter side so I can mount without a boost or block.

I just bred my 2nd gen horses that were at least 17 hh together--4 mares and 2 stallions. I got one 16.3 gelding and these intact fillies of astounding height:

Partners Luck, adult height 17.3

I'm slowly working my herds toward tall too. The taller the better, and anything dark or dun is a bonus. Can't wait to see how my own draft cross offspring turn out.

Crazy cool! I didn't realize we had 18.0 hand horses on HJ. This is so neat! I can't wait to see them all grown up. :D

The tallest I have in my herd is 17.0 hands and I love them. I'm especially excited about this flashy colt: Feather of Io

OH HEY and the two 18 handers in the game are the same generations, so once Legendary Luck is old enough, we can try for even taller! :D

I suppose we can!

Remember, though, the pictured height will remain the same for all the very tallest horses, because there's not enough room in the image box to make them larger. I forget exactly which height is the tallest that can be pictured, but it would be 17.something.

I know, but it would be nice to know where the limit numbers-wise is, if there is one. I know the image height's limit is 17 flat.
