    So I was going to add DP to my macchiato yule log, but I'm not sure if I can build up the 20 gmt tokens in two months, so my question is later on down the road if I want to add it into the bloodline would I be able to add it to an offspring or would I have to find a horse that's already got 2 copies of DP? I may be able to build up the 10 tokens for one copy in 2 months but I need to finish my stud first, which is only one token I believe , and add pearl to my wet n wild after I finished the two three year olds for my macchiato line. So just wondering!

    you can only GMT any lined horse to have genetics the parents had, atleast thats how i took it. so if you had two horses with no DP you couldnt add DP to its offspring. im not sure if it goes back in generations, such as if the great great great dam with DP could mean you can add it or just parents though. :)

    The thing about gmting a lined horse is that you can only gmt on what the parents have. However if you're dedicated you should be able to get hom dp macchiato foals by third generation (breed 2nd gen het dp mach foals, then breed those together to get hom)

    As long as at least one of the parents of the foal in question was definitely carrying DP, yes you could add one copy of DP to the foal. If you knew that both parents were definitely carrying DP, then you could add up to two copies (one from the sire and one from the dam) for 1 GMT each.

    Thank you! As I said I may be able to get her het, or maybe I'll get lucky and win the 250k on this account and be able to have that boost like I did the other 2 accounts. Or I'll just leave her be, who knows what's gonna happen in the long run :)
