Question About Pulling Eggs
-
I personally cannot pull eggs, but I have friends that can... I'm rather curious about this though, for if I ever can pull eggs... If I breed/use a straw on a mare, say today...can I then pull eggs from her the rest of the month, or does breeding/using a straw on her make it where I cannot pull eggs? In this case, would I need to just pull however many eggs I want, then breed her?
Thanks... ~O)Love,
Spry -
Once you breed a mare eggs can no longer be collected.
Same if you mass flush her, eggs cant be collected and can breed her normally.
You can collect 1 egg every 5 days then breed her normally at the end of the month though.●▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●

@ParadisePark
That makes sense. Thank you. One of my friends mentioned something about pulling the eggs every five days, and then at the end of the month, do a mass flush, which would then give you even more eggs than just a simple mass flush, or only pulling eggs every 5 days. I'm not sure how effective this method is, but hey. I think one day, we're going to be trying it. I cannot pull eggs, but I think they're gonna be taking my mare for the month, so we can try this, since I want as many eggs from the mare as possible.Love,

A note of caution; Selling, or even loaning a horse to another player to do something that requires an upgrade you don't have, is against the rules. You CAN buy a Premium upgrade for one month, collect the eggs, then 'turn off' the upgrade.Thanked by 1SpryOfJune

The exact count between egg pulls, when you're legally able to do that, goes like this: Day 1-pull egg, Day 2-wait, Day 3-wait, Day 4-wait, Day 5-wait, Day 6-pull another egg.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

And please remember that while pulling an egg isn’t very expensive (3k hbs per egg), doing mass flushes is incredibly expensive (125k or sort of 9-16k/egg depending on how many you get.). Then actually using the eggs is also more expensive than normal hand breeding or even breeding with straws...
As a result, most people choose not to flush mares at all, only pull eggs. And if we do flush a mare, she’s usually a one of a kind mare we can’t replicate easily who doesn’t already have any/very many intact foals. I would highly recommend that any player who doesn’t already have a thriving show herd instead invest their hbs in Show ponies and barns for them, not flushing eggs from a mare. There are very few mares out there that are worth that sort of investment...
All that said, there absolutely are some mares that I have flushed multiple times in their lifetime and wish I’d stored more eggs from...so if you’re seriously in love with a mare then please, save up your hbs and enjoy those extra babies from her!
